meno a kwena

Meno A Kwena Tented Camp & Safaris operates out of our base camp on the banks of the Boteti Riverbed, (dry since 1995). The Boteti River is one of the few drainage systems that carry the Okavango floodwater out of the delta in times of average, and above average rainfall, deep into the Kalahari. The Boteti Riverbed is the western boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park in North Central Botswana. The riverbed is the dry season range of Southern Africa’s largest zebra and wildebeest migration, along with a variety of wet and dry land species, of both migratory and resident wildlife.

8 safari tents (7 twins & 1 double). Comfortable bathrooms adjacent to the tents with open air bucket showers and flush lavatories. All tents are pitched on a cliff overlooking the dry Boteti riverbed, where we provide water for the wildlife to drink in full spectacular view of all guest areas in the camp. The camp relies on solar energy for hot water and power.

Nature walks, game viewing drives in 4x4 vehicles and/or full day trips with picnic lunches to Nxai Pan National Park.
